NYSCU Leadership Chronology

This page contains a partial chronology of NYSCU leadership positions since 1982.  Years indicate the date of the election or appointment.  Next to the year is the location of the Annual Meeting at which elections took place.  Asterisks indicate the convenor of Nominating Committee, where known.  Parentheses around a congregation name indicate that it was not—at least at the time—a member of the Convention.

The St. Lawrence Foundation has 7 Trustees.  For many years, 4 of them were appointed by the NYSCU Board; they are listed below in the year they were appointed (for a term beginning in May of the following year).  The other three members were once appointed by the UUA, St. Lawrence District, and Metropolitan New York District.  With the merger of SLD and MNY into the Central East Region, the three remaining members began to be selected by the Foundation Board itself; as of 2023, the Board selects all its own members.
