Sheila Starkey Hahn, Esq. Sheila Starkey Hahn has been practicing immigration law for 25 years. She is a Buffalo native and returned to upstate New York with her husband and two sons after many years in Washington, DC and Memphis, TN. She has a nationwide immigration practice with offices in Fredonia and Buffalo, focusing on employment-based immigration and the pro bono representation of asylum applicants from Central America. Sheila is the Vice Chair of the AILA National Client Resources Committee and the immediate past Chair of the AILA National Pro Bono Committee. She has traveled to Artesia, New Mexico and Dilley, Texas to provide pro bono representation to detained Central American asylum seekers. She is the recipient of the 2018 Michael Maggio Pro Bono Award for her efforts at the Southern border and was recently named 2022 Lawyer of the Year for Immigration Law in Western New York by Best Lawyers and US News and World Report.
